While creating dynamic jamming scenario, I found that the jamming signal path loss (observed at the receiver) does not change based on different map layout (i.e., built up city or open area). My question is if it is possible to include the effect of terrain/city layout on jamming signal propagation ?
Although this feature is not currently available to “civilian” Skydel customers, we do have an alternative solution.
There is a remote API command that allows you to configure a jammer’s signal at runtime. This could be used to simulate terrain changes by manually changing the signal strength.
